STAYING HERE – Aura Weaving

About the Presentation

Hannah Ma’s talk “Staying Here – Aura Weaving” is somewhere between  performance, ritual and political practice. It deals with decolonialism, remembrance and current shifts toward populism. Drawing on her artistic practice, Hannah Ma describes the body as an archive, as a site of history, migration, loss and resistance. Thus, “Staying Here” becomes a question of space, belonging and the possibility of weaving together energies and creating collective places in the face of pressure, violence and exclusion.
