About the Concert

Bata Banda – 8 friends, 4 languages and enough energy to make the entire festival get up and dance.  World / Dub / Ska – enticing, diverse and with the guarantee that no one will be able to just stand still. Although they started as a reggae / ska band, Bata Banda discovered quickly their passion for international music. In addition to German and English texts, the energetic frontwoman Seyda also sings her own compositions in Turkish. The large rhythm section that includes trumpets and sax delivers a world ska that is well worth listening to. Danceable grooves and smooth melodies from their own compositions puts out one catchy tune after another. Bata Banda gives a show that is entertaining for all ages and at the same time, promotes an openness to diversity. They stand for equality and tolerance – wrapping it all up with charm and good vibes.
