Awareness, Accessibility and Barrier-free Spaces

The Schwindelfrei Festival team would like to make artistic processes and experiments possible, to present diverse approaches and results, and to remain always open for dialog. We think in an interdisciplinary and trans-regional way and try to build networks. We would like to work together as equals. We strive for clarity, openness and transparency. We would like to make the festival even more accessible.

  • Advisory Board: The festival works with an advisory board that guides us on matters of anti-discrimination, especially on the topics of diversity, accessibility and barrier-free spaces. The members of the board will be notified about the applications that were received and the selections that were made.
  • Awareness: The festival also works with an awareness officer and we have an awareness concept that is continually being developed. At the moment, some of the workspaces are barrier-free. In addition, we support communication forms in a variety of languages and formats. Although we cannot offer childcare at present, we are striving to make care work and residency time compatible.

We would be grateful for any information regarding barrier-free spaces and requirements for accessibility and inclusion – please contact us.
